My friend and colleage Joanne Bradley, a REALTOR with Realty Executives, reminded me that the annual Walk for PKD is Sunday, September 16 at Market Street at DC Ranch in Scottsdale.
There is no cure for Polycystic Kydney Disease (PKD), which is estimated to affect 12.5 Million people worldwide, but walks are done every year to raise funds to find a cure.
The event is described as:
Educational, fun and festive for the whole family!
There will be complimentary food & water provided, with a Live Band at the Corporate Expo on the Plaza on Market Street immediately following the 5K and one mile fun walks. Free Pedometers to the first 500 Walk finishers.
