I found a new blog today. Actually, I found a bunch, but I found a couple of stand outs that were new to me.
St. Paul Real Estate is authored by Teresa Boardman. As an example of the great content she provides, her article on Buying Houses for a Dollar was a useful bit of info for any buyer in the market today. So Teresa’s blog found it’s way into my feedreeder today. I can’t claim to be reader #1000 for her, but it looks like I may be number 997. Hopefully this bit of pub will get her over that hump. Eh, what am I thinking? That would take at least 3 people that read my blog….bah!
Anyway, my path to finding Teresa’s blog was certainly a bit convoluted. It started with an email from PropertyQube inviting me to be in the “Huddle”, a private group of industry professionals that are willing to help PropertyQube develop their system and make its networking solution more valuable. I was honored by the invite, and accepted it pretty quickly. To be honest, I don’t know if PropertyQube will be as successful as Trulia Voices currently is, but I do wish them luck, and in the meantime I’m willing to be on the ground floor in optimistic hope that it’ll eventually be something truly special.
I then realized I hadn’t searched for any new members to link up with recently on PropertyQube, so I gave a quick search for Arizona members to join my trust network. I found Jay had recently joined, along with a few other people I didn’t know in Arizona, so I sent them all community invites. Hopefully they all agree to join The Housechick in my trust network.
The second gem, however, came when I found Barabara Lasky’s profile on PropertyQube. Her profile noted her blog: Tuscon Real Estate in the News. And it was reading her blog that I noticed her MyBlogLogReaders included TBoardman. That brought me to Teresa Boardman’s profile, and eventually to her excellent blog. Wow, this social networking thing really works.
Now if Jonathon Dalton would consider joining PropertyQube. I’m sure his contributions there would be invaluable. Or what about Heather Barr?

Hadn’t really crossed my mind, Steve, but I’ll take a look at it …
thanks! this put me up to 1004.
oops, you have four readers now.
It does take time to build readership. I was stick at 18 for months. I used to joke about it.
@ Teresa, I managed to misspell your name 4 times, and you were polite enough not to say a thing…that’s class — and also fixed.
And I cannot take credit for 7 more readers, but congrats on busting through that milestone.
@ Jonathan I see you sign up…I sent you a network invite.
Steve,
Great way to find others out there blogging about real estate. I especially like the Barbara Lasky site.
I’m kind of a news buff as it is.
