There’s still plenty of time today to get out and vote, as polls are open until 7pm tonight. In Scottsdale, there’s a major school bond up for consideration.
I think it worth noting that the vast majority of people that will vote for the school bonds in Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Carefree, and Fountain Hills do not have any children in their households. I can only conclude that parents consider themselves too busy to vote.
Regardless of whether you have kids or not, you should get out and vote. And if you do have kids, take your neighbor with you. It will only take a couple of minutes, and it could make a significant difference in the quality of your child’s education. It could also make a significant difference in your property values, as most people link property values to the quality of the schools in the area.
