Nominated for an Odysseus Medal

November 26, 2007

My recent post regarding Fair Housing law entitled From Trulia Voices: is central Phoenix an African American part of town? became a finalist yesterday for an Odysseus Medal.  To whomever nominated me, my sincere thanks.

On a personal note, we had a large family dinner for Thanksgiving (25+ people), followed by a smaller family gathering at our home in Pinetop (13 people), so I’ve been a tad busy enjoying the holiday.  Best of all, I was able to play family photographer, breaking out the Stroboframe to take holiday photos of everyone dear to me.  Plus, I had a nice mountain bike ride in 40 degree temps with my brother and brother-in-law (who said it was the best ride of his life) on Saturday.

In less than 2 weeks, we’ll be having our annual holiday party at the Belt house.  My wife informs me that we’ve invited over 80 people.  I love the holidays, but they can be a bit busy at times.  With the holiday season now in full swing, here’s wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday.

All told, I’m a bit behind with the RE.net world, but I’ll catch up…eventually.
