For the 1991 game, I was front row, student section, around the goal line. Although getting on the field would have been easy enough, I never left my "seat". After the goal posts were torn down, I was on the receiving end of them being handed into the stands. I'll never forget watching them be tossed off of the upper deck. I joined the crowd on the field and had a piece of the turf for about seven years after it happened. Still have the ticket. Was helped onto the fence in front of the ASU band and started an A-S-U chant across a field of yellow pom-poms. 1992 was good. 1996 was tremendous. Tomorrow marks my 19th straight year attending the game. But the rest will have to wait until tomorrow on my own blog. :-) You beat me to this by a day …
