Dilbert makes its way to the sidebar

January 27, 2008

Thanks to Michael Wurzer at the FBS Blog, I found out about the newly available Dilbert widget.  I subscribe to the daily Dilbert feed to read today’s comic via RSS, for days I don’t get a chance to read the paper while I’m at Starbucks.

A few of you know, as it’s buried within comments, that I formerly worked at Intel.  For 8 years.  I’m not sure if Intel invented the cubicle on the same day they invited the microprocessor, but it always seemed like it when I worked there.  One thing that does differ about Intel, from the cubicle life portrayed in the comics, is that every employee at Intel has a cubicle.  Even the pointed-haired boss.  Even Craig Barrett and Paul Otellini.  It’s an ocean of cubicles, and almost no one has a window (that’s where they put the hallways).

At any rate, I’m a big fan of the comic, and with the availability of the widget for websites, I had to have one.  Even if no one but me reads it.  You’ll find it on the left side bar, as you scroll down just a ways.  Amazingly the daily’s are colored, which I understand will be happening in print some day in the future as well.
