Launched today: The New TeamBelt.com

It’s finally done.  Well, nothing is ever really done, is it?  So I’ll rephrase:  It’s finally good enough to launch:  The new Scottsdale and Phoenix Homes For Sale blog/website, which was previously a static, Web 1.0, nearly worthless website, was relaunched today.  The URL is www.teambelt.com

FYI, my wife (Jan Belt) and I selected that domain name when she was a practicing agent.  Now she’s a hard working small business owner that is helping school aged children be better students, as she runs Oxford Learning in Scottsdale and Fountain Hills.  Since the beginning of the year, she’s given me permission to remove her from all marketing.  Lately, I think it’s been more of a demand, so this is certainly overdo in more than just one way.

For the launch, there was little fanfare.  In fact, I’m in my office alone, with no one around to share the moment with, but hey, that’s life in the fast paced real estate world we live in.

For the record, I owe Benn Rosales a nudge of thanks.  Late last year he pointed out the Revolution Wordpress theme, which I think he is using as the basis for Single Point Realty.  I contacted the author of Revolution, Brian Gardner, about customizing the theme for my needs.  He politely declined, saying he was too busy (join the crowd).  Instead, he put me in touch with another designer that wasn’t too busy.  Interestingly, that gentleman would like to remain anonymous, although looking at the result, it’s not because teambelt.com suxors.

And there you have it.  More refinement will still come, but the site and blog are there.  You may be asking, what will you find there?  All of the real estate stuff that doesn’t make sense here.  For example, specific homes for sale and for rent (I’m still loading those), market updates for subdivisions I follow more closely, and other hyper-local things that just don’t make sense on this blog.  If you get a chance, please check it out.  Thanks!
